Philly reprezent! I went down to Philadelphia for the weekend last month for Marlena and Barry’s engagement session, and it was awesome. They’re awesome.
The Chestnut Hill neighborhood was perfect for our shoot b/c they’ve lived together there for years now. We got ice cream at Bredenbeck’s, who is also making their wedding cake, and even ended up in front of Barry’s barbershop. See you guys again for your wedding in October! I knew the sound of Breandan’s voice with its full-on Irish accent long before I ever met him in person. Last year I did a shoot at the swanky St Regis Hotel which thankfully took months to coordinate. I say thankfully b/c somewhere along the way, Breandan introduced himself to me as my new contact at the hotel. Then Breandan and Esther got engaged, and since then I’ve held the honor of being their wedding photographer.
